Terms & Conditions

Bookings & Confirmation

All reservations must be made directly with the Ceylon Curator by the traveler or an authorized representative.

A booking is considered confirmed only once we issue a written confirmation or booking voucher. At that point, a binding agreement exists between you (the traveler) and Ceylon Curator.

Legal Framework & Role

All bookings are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

In delivering your travel experience, Ceylon Curator may act on behalf of trusted partners such as accommodation providers, transport operators, and activity hosts. While we carefully select these partners, we do not have direct control over their operations.

Payments

Payment terms will be specified at the time of booking. In most cases, full payment is required upon confirmation unless otherwise stated.

If payments are not received within the agreed period, Ceylon Curator reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Pricing & Adjustments

Prices quoted are based on prevailing costs at the time of booking.

Should there be unforeseen changes in government taxes, fuel costs, exchange rates, or supplier fees, Ceylon Curator may adjust the price accordingly. We will always inform you of any such changes before applying them.

Amendments & Cancellations by the Traveler

Any request to alter an itinerary (dates, services, or participants) must be sent in writing. We will do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability and possible additional costs.

Cancellations are subject to charges, which vary depending on the time of notice. A detailed cancellation schedule will be provided at the time of booking.

Itinerary Adjustments by Ceylon Curator

On rare occasions, circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather conditions, local events, or supplier changes) may require us to adjust an itinerary.

In such cases, we will communicate promptly and provide suitable alternatives of equal value. Ceylon Curator cannot be held liable for incidental costs resulting from these changes (e.g., flight amendments, personal expenses).

Liability & Services by Third Parties

We carefully select accommodation, transport, and activity providers to deliver high-quality experiences. However, Ceylon Curator cannot accept responsibility for accidents, delays, or losses caused by third-party suppliers, except where negligence on our part is proven.

Travelers engage with these services at their own risk and are advised to ensure adequate personal travel insurance.

Feedback, Complaints & Disputes

Should you encounter any issue during your journey, please inform us or your local guide immediately so we can take corrective action.

Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of the incident.

f a matter remains unresolved, it may be referred for resolution under Sri Lankan law, with arbitration as a potential final step.

Traveler Responsibilities

It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure all entry requirements (visas, passports, vaccinations, health protocols) are met before departure.

Adequate travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and adventure activities is strongly recommended.

Travelers are responsible for their conduct and any damage caused to property or third parties during their trip.

Privacy & Communications

Any personal information shared with the Ceylon Curator will be treated with strict confidentiality and used solely for travel arrangements.

We do not disclose personal data to unaffiliated third parties without consent.

By booking with us, you agree that communication via email, SMS, or other electronic means is valid and binding.
